Day of the Dead Skull Box, Black
Created in imitation of the sugar skulls made in celebration of the Mexican Day of the Dead or "Dia de los Muertos", this skull-shaped box is a rather beautiful creation. Decorated with patterns of flowers and a cross with colorful patterns against a black backdrop, the skull stops being a macabre image and becomes a celebration of the dead.
Beneath the removable top portion there is a spacious container in which you can place sacred herbs, offerings, pendulums, and other ritual and sacred items.
Your black Day Of the Dead Skull Box is sculpted of resin and measures approximately 4 1/2 inches tall x 3 1/2 inches wide, with interior dimensions of approximately 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches.
The "sugar skulls" or Los calaveras de azucar are a happy remembrance of a loved one - a happy, joyful memory/reminder of the past. Display to represent an ancestor, remember and to honor an ancestor.
