God of the West Winds

Zephyrous is one of the seven major gods of Medieval demonology. He is the god that creates the West Winds with his breath. The West Winds are the Trade Winds that enabled the rich commerce of the Middle Ages and Renaissance periods which, in turn, stimulated the growth of culture and Rebirth of Knowledge that was lost in the Dark Ages!

Zephyrous is said to be the mildest and gentlest of the wind deities; the wind god of spring
