I happened upon the 13 Moons website, so I knew absolutely nothing about the quality of its products or even about the business itself, but for the price (other sites had the same one, but higher priced) I figured what have I got to lose. I was amazed when I received it not more than four days later! It is bigger and better than I thought it was going to be and the quality is excellent.I'm so glad I took a chance. I will be back time and time again to shop here.

Irish Claddagh Wall Plaque
by Maxine Miller

Claddagh Wall Plaque in Bronze Finish measures approximately 6 1/2 x 3/4 x 7 inches.

The Irish Claddagh is a symbol of Love, Friendship and Loyalty. The beautiful art by Maxine features: Claddagh band adorned with angels, the salmon of knowledge and dragon face all woven together with intricate celtic art.

Some believe Claddagh history began with the ancient Celts. The mythical Beathauile is said to represent the Crown. Dagda, father of the Celtic gods, represents the right hand of the Claddagh Ring. Anu, ancestral and universal mother of the Celts, represents the left hand.

Throughout Claddagh history, Claddagh rings and jewelry have been handed down from mother to daughter with the saying, モWith these hands I give you my heart and I crown it with my love.ヤ
