Owl and Lady of the Forest Embossed Journal
by Welsh Artist, Jen Delyth
In Wales the Owl is called Blodeuwedd - which means flower face. In the Celtic tale, Blodeuwedd is magically created for magicians from stone and flowers - beautiful, fragrant as the wildflowers from which she was sculpted. But she follows her true nature and independence, and is turned into an Owl - solitary wise bird of the night. Patient huntress, spiritual wisdom and knowledge - a seeker of truth, she is a guide in the darkness.
The Magical Weavings of Welsh Artist Jen Delyth are founded in her deep connection to her Celtic heritage - inspired by the Spirit in Nature, Earth Mysteries and Mythology. Jen's original Celtic Art studio designs express our mythic connection to the natural world.
