Goldstone is made from ground quartz or quartz sand melted down while adding copper salts. As the stones cool, the gold flecks appear. The most common color is the red-sand-brown with tiny copper-gold flecks throughout. These stones are also known, historically, as Gold Star Glass and Aventurine.

We fill old-style corked bottles with small tumbled Goldstone for your witchcraft spells, wishes, jewelry making, stone mosaics, crafts and home décor. The glass bottles measure approximately 1.53 inches tall x .87 inches wide.
