Red Sandalwood is a tree native to Southern India and it provides a relaxing and calming effect that supports meditation. Different from white sandalwood (Santalum album), red sandalwood lacks the intense aromatic properties of it's counterpart. It is often used in rituals for cleansing, consecration and relaxation. This is an excellent herb to use as an incense for your sabbats, rituals and celebrations.
