Celtic Goddess Blodeuwedd
Blodeuwedd is known as the Flower Goddess, Spring Goddess and Owl Goddess. The Welsh Goddess of Spring, Blodeuwedd, wife of Llue (son of Arianrhod) is said to have been created from flowers. Upon being unfaithful to her husband, she was punished and transformed into an owl.
The stunning depiction of this Welsh Goddess shows great detail with Owl Feathers in her hair, along with flowers accenting her hair and scarf. An owl is at the waist of her dress and finely detailed lacy scrolls and hearts are at on the bottom, border of her dress.
