Celtic Goddess Ceridwen
for Fertility & Imagination

Ceridwen was an enchantress in Welsh medieval legend. Medieval Welsh poetry refers to her as possessing the cauldron of poetic inspiration (Awen). The Tale of Taliesin recounts her swallowing her servant Gwion Bachwho, who is then reborn through her as the poet Taliesin. Ceridwen is regarded by many as the Celtic goddess of Rebirth, Transformation, and Inspiration.

Details of Your Statue:

Finely robed and cloaked, Cerridwen kneels before "Awen" and stirs the brewing mixture which sits upon a fire. She is accompanied by a sow, hen and cat. The detail from her ornate necklace, dress, cloak, and animals to the Celtic adorned base are exceptional. A lovely art you will love to display in your home.
