Epona, the White Horse of Uffington, is a representation of the beloved horse goddess of the ancient Celtic people. Epona is the Gaulish name for this Goddess who has many other names and titles. The Welsh call her Rhiannon; the British form is Rigantona: Great Queen. She is a goddess of power, freedom, fertility, joy and abundance. Also associated with the Faery Queen, She is still celebrated in the Hobby Horse dancing at the turning of the seasons. Celebrate Epona during your Solstice Celebrations.
