I just got my 2 orders. They came packaged together and faster than I thought I would get them. I just went through them and they were packaged really well and in great shape. The only thing I haven't received yet is my altar cloth but that will come separately since I got an email promptly after I placed my order asking what color and trim I wanted. Yes, that means it is hand made and the person making it was the one who contacted me. Talk about service. I am very, very pleased with my experience. I will place more orders with 13 moons.

Maeve, Queen of the Fairies

Maeve, the Intoxicating Queen of Desire Power is also known for Pleasure, Honey Wine and as the Queen of the Fairies. She is a goddess to be reckoned with. Her name translates to "she who intoxicates". Indeed, she is renowned for her prodigious appetites for sex, power, and drink.

A great warrior queen, she coveted the famous brown bull of Ulster. She schemed and wreaked havoc until he was hers, not to be denied her desires. She embodies obsession, addiction, bloodlust and battle. Maeve is thought to be the progenitor of Maab, the English queen of the fairies.

Highlights of the detail of the Maeve Statue

Elegant flow all over, the Queen holding her chalice, sits on her elaborate throne with wings outstretched; tips of wings curling around the chair posts and the Queen Bee above her; she is bejeweled from head to toe in jewelry and Celtic design. A large ornate crown sits upon her head as a crow perches on her arm and a squirrel on her shoulder.

At her feet is a finely detailed cauldron, lid (dual purpose also as a shield) and athame. The pedestal upon which she sits has more detail of skin rug and Celtic border.

On the back, you find a balance of crossed spears, Celtic flowing design, Oaks and Acorns. In the center of top is a horned steer with the sun rising.

She measures 10 3/4 inches tall x 6 1/2 inches x 7 inches and is cast in resin and hand painted.

Please Note: Photo is taken outside; however, Interior Decoration is recommended with this statue.
