Nataraj - King of the Dancers Statue

Lord of the Dance & Drama Arts - Shiva dances the great continuing cycle which symbolizes life's ebb and flow, the intricate balance between form and void. Atop a lotus style pedestal, framed by a whirling flame of cosmic energy, he tramples upon the demon of spiritual ignorance.

Nataraj, King of the Dancers and Lord of Joy and Sorrow stands approximately 7 1/2 inches tall and is crafted of resin with a green finish. He is surrounded by a ring of flames and stands upon a lotus pedestal while balanced over a demon of ignorance with left leg raised. His dance usually depicts, as in the photo, his hair as a fan behind his head as his energetic dance whirls out his hair.

An elegant gift for your home or someone special at this great price!
