Skull Reading Head
Phrenology heads or busts were used by phrenologists to perform "skull readings" that was thought to revealed information about a person's character and tendencies.
During the late 1700s, a physician named Franz Gall had a theory that the skull was a kind of chart. He suggested that the bumps and depressions related to the 37 faculties could be diagnosed and measured. This device has been widely used for years by practitioners. And now you can own one to use on your altar or home décor. Makes an awesome Halloween decoration. Mad scientist anyone?!
