Spring Hare Hengeband
Collaborative Collection by Anne Stokes & Briar
Hengeband: Creative, Unique and Stylish Art to wear three ways: As a circlet crown, a thigh decoration and a necklace.
The magic circle has been used for thousands of years to capture energy, form a holy space and provide magical protection.
The Celts believed that the Goddess Eostre’s attendant spirit was the hare. It represented love, fertility and growth and was associated with the Moon, dawn and Easter energy. Eostre changed into a hare at the full Moon and as such, the hare was considered to be a royal animal.
Each hengeband has a braided leather thong which is adjustable allowing you voguish ways to wear it. These collective pewter hengebands with embellishments are more than a fashion accessory! They allow you to create, in your mind's eye, a circle of energy around you and awareness of this circle will allow you to center yourself. An organza pouch is included for safe storage as well as a comprehensive leaflet with meanings. Decorative Pendant portion (not including leather thong) measures approximately 3 1/4 inches x 1 inches.
