Complimentary Shipping

We offer free shipping on orders of $99 or more within the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii).

  • Customers in Alaska and Hawaii who select free shipping will be contacted by email with the applicable shipping costs before fulfillment.
  • The shipping method (UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage) is selected based on package weight and destination at the time of dispatch.
  • A street address must be provided — P.O. Boxes are not eligible for free shipping.

Domestic Shipping with USPS

  • Orders are dispatched the next business day post-purchase.
  • USPS Ground Advantage typically takes 3–5 business days (estimated, not guaranteed by USPS).
  • USPS Priority Mail typically takes 2–3 business days (estimated, not guaranteed by USPS). Invoice estimates of 2 or 3 days reflect standard Priority Mail — this is not expedited service.
  • USPS Priority Mail Express provides 1–2 business day delivery by 6 PM with a money-back guarantee.
  • For packages marked "delivered" by USPS, we are unable to offer refunds as we rely on carrier confirmation of delivery.

Shipping via UPS

  • Orders must be placed by 8:00 a.m. EST for UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or 3rd Day Select to ship the same day.
  • UPS pickups occur at approximately 12:00 p.m. EST. Orders placed after 10:00 a.m. EST are typically shipped the next business day.
  • UPS Ground: 3–7 business days depending on destination.
  • UPS delivers Monday–Friday only. No weekend deliveries.
  • UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes — a street address is required.
  • Note: UPS has suspended its Service Guarantee for all shipments.

Lost Packages

  • Please double-check your shipping address before confirming your order. We are not responsible for lost packages and USPS does not offer refunds for lost packages.
  • For deliveries to less secure addresses via USPS, consider adding Signed Confirmation or switching to UPS for enhanced delivery security. Add Signature Confirmation here.

Stolen Packages

  • We understand how frustrating it can be when a package goes missing after delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the package is shipped to a secure location.
  • While we cannot be held responsible for packages stolen after delivery, we will do our best to assist you by working with the shipping carrier.
  • If you've experienced stolen packages in the past, we recommend choosing a shipping option with a signature requirement, such as UPS.

U.S. & International Packages Not Delivered

If your package has not been delivered by the estimated delivery date, please contact us no later than one week past the estimated delivery date by email: help@13moons.com or by phone: (802) 442-1313. Please include your name, phone number, order number, and the best way to reach you.

International Shipping

  • We ship all international orders via the U.S. Postal Service.
  • International shipments may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are the customer's responsibility. Each country has its own regulations — please familiarize yourself with your country's import rules before ordering.
  • Items removed by customs are not eligible for a refund.

International Shipping Timeframes

  • First Class International: 7–21 business days (estimated, not guaranteed — delays may occur)
  • Priority International: 3–10 business days
  • Express International: 3–5 business days

Important — First Class International: This is an untracked, uninsured service. By selecting this option, you acknowledge and accept the following:

  • There may be no proof of shipment, tracking, or delivery
  • Packages may be held in customs for up to 6 weeks
  • Delivery may take 3 months or longer
  • Packages are occasionally never delivered or returned to us
  • We are unable to track, retrieve, or issue refunds for First Class International shipments

Specific Country Restrictions

Knives, athames, swords, blades, and axes cannot be shipped to Greece, Brazil, or Australia. Customs will confiscate any bladed items without refund.

Puerto Rico

To select USPS Priority Mail, please enter "United States" as your country when entering your shipping address.

Signature Requirements

  • A signature may be required if the billing address does not match the shipping address.
  • 13 Moons reserves the right to require a signature at delivery based on order value or destination.
  • UPS and USPS may also request a signature based on package value or drop-off location.

If Packages Cannot Be Delivered

Should your order be returned due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, refusal, or non-pickup, you have two options:

  • Reship: Pay the return shipping fee plus new outbound shipping charges.
  • Cancel for refund: Receive a refund for items only, minus original shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee. Return fees from UPS or USPS will also be deducted.
  • There are no refunds for international orders that are returned or refused.
