Rose of Jericho
Selaginella lepidophylla
Arabia gave us the Rose of Jericho, or the Resurrection plant, because its dry branches uncurl when exposed to moisture. Also called "Oleander," or " Olea Ander," which means resurrection, romance and charm.
Place in a bowl of Spring water, leave for three days - then use water residue as a blessing water. May also be left in areas where dark energies/bad vibes exist - this will trap them and prevent harm. Hindu mourners place Oleanders about the bodies of dead relatives, using the blooms as funeral flowers - hence the aspect of it being known as the Resurrection flower.
Sold by each individual plant in a resealable bag. Place in water to bring to life.
